THE OPERATION

The anaesthetic may change depending on the individual patient's wishes and the surgeon's judgment. Measurements and drawings, which are an essential part of the operation, are carried out before the patient is anaesthetised, in a standing or sitting position.

These are a guide for the incisions during the operation when the patient is in a recumbent position. The operation consists in removing part of the skin of the breast, moving the nipple towards the upper part of the aureola and remodelling the remaining tissues in a higher position thus obtaining a greater consistency.
